What Are Quilters Blogging About Today?

Looks like a rogue block found its way into the first design … perhaps I should have used one of them in each side.

A bit more variety in the blocks for the second design.

I still like the colours in these designs … they remind me of antique quilts.

Love the second design.

Very interesting, though not a lot of room for the quilting to attract a lot of attention.

Very nice! A little bit more applique, and more visible quilting.

Autumn days are here, and today I hope to get my hands dirty while emptying some plant pots … I have to do some clearing of weeds first, but have made up my mind which plants to put where.

I like the design above, but I suspect that some weed seeds are looking at the spaces for quilting and thinking that they can grow there.

Third design is rather interesting, but I must leave the internet and go play in the dirt.

Looks rather like a vintage quilt.

Not much vintage about the second design though. I like both of them … no favourite today.

Not a lot of room for quilting, but there is some!

My favourite of these two is the second one.

Another Aussie autumn coloured quilt … crop stubble in paddocks, dull green tree foliage covered in dust, blue skies, and in real life I can feel the cooler breezes.

Not too sure which one I like the most, maybe the second if I added another solid border, but not too wide.

Love the first design today. Some piecing, some intricate, some simple applique, scrappy border, and, of course, quilting!

Some of us are living through autumn, some of us are heading into summer, but I like these series of designs regardless of the season.
